Raised Embroidery with Sarah Perry

On this two day workshop Sarah will help you transfer a design of your favourite bird and then embroider it using long and short stitch and colour shading.
Sarah is a textile artist working in fine embroidered three-dimensional birds and animals set in their natural habitats. Travelling up from Cornwall to share her skills this will be a full weekend of stitching pleasure that will translate into a beautiful piece of three dimensional artwork inspired by her practice.
