Get a glimpse of Welbeck behind the scenes with our new ‘Inside Welbeck’ report featuring the Welbeck Estate Grounds Department. The gardens at Welbeck, originally the grounds of a Premonstratensian Abbey were developed by Francis Richardson and Humphry Repton in the late 18th century with further developments by Alfred Parsons and Walter Partridge in the late 19th and early 20th century.
Welbeck Woodyard Firewood

The Welbeck Woodyard is now selling oak firewood in cubic metre bags. As oak is slow growing, the wood is hard and tight grained, making it hot burning and efficient. There is free delivery to orders within a ten mile radius of Welbeck. Small bags of logs and stickwood are also available. Welbeck Woodyard office hours are 9am to 1pm, Monday - Friday.
Welbeck Abbey Brewery

The Welbeck Abbey Brewery held a Beer and Barbecue afternoon for its customer's yesterday in the Brewery's yard. The rain did not dampen spirits as guest enjoyed delicious pints of Welbeck Abbey real ales alongside tasty treats from the Welbeck Farm Shop, Welbeck Bakehouse, Boutique Aromatique and Stichelton Dairy.

Calling all contemporary artists - if you work in 2d, then don't miss the chance to enter your prize winning piece to the 2013 Harley Open Exhibition. Last year's Harley Open received over 700 entries, with 145 pieces shown in the exhibition. From 2013 the Harley Open will become a regular, biennial event on the creative calendar.
