Welbeck Abbey Brewery supports Guide Dogs
06 October 2014
To celebrate National Guide Dog Week, Welbeck Abbey Brewery have teamed up with Steve Bowles a Worksop Guide Dog owner to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Guide Dog charity by creating a special real ale named Barley May.
Over 3000 pints of Barley May has been brewed with 10p from every pint going to the Guide Dog charity. Barley May is available in over 40 local pubs. The first pint of Barley May was pulled for the public last week at The Grey Horses Inn at Carlton in Lindrick. The beer is aptly named after two guide dogs, Barley & May, from the Worksop volunteering group.
