Produced by Heyday Films and directed by James Kent, the film depicts Juliette Towhidi’s adapted screenplay of Vera Brittain's iconic and powerful First World War memoir, a searing story of love and war, first published in 1933.

The Community Bonfire Group has been running a free, annual bonfire in Cuckney village for over 25 years. This year's Community Bonfire is scheduled for Saturday the 1st of November at 6pm in Cuckney Village.
