Tilleke Schwarz – Marks and Texts
with Hope & Elvis
In this workshop you will design your own patterns and marks.
You will start by designing with felt markers, pens or pencils on paper. Afterwards we see what it looks like stitched on a piece of textiles.
The second half of the day we will spend on couching text. Couching is a kind of writing with the needle. Very useful if you like to add text to your work, for instance your name, title of your work or a personal note or a line of poetry for a dear friend.
