Mrs Bertimus studied fashion and textiles at St.Martin’s School of Art and enjoyed three years of making completely unwearable garments.
Explorative, engaging, exciting are all words that can be applied to this workshop. Opening up her extensive mixed media recipe book she will show you the WOW process of printing plates. Mono printing is fast and fun and allows you to work on paper or cloth. Using source materials such as personal photographs, artists work and imagery you will produce a series of uniquely layered prints that could be framed or worked into projects. Letitia will also demonstrate her working methods within her textile art and you will get to see her signature style free motion stitching up close.
This cake-fuelled day is suitable for all levels of experience and a perfect opportunity to get your hands dirty, work freely and explore new ideas.
