Save the date! The Harley Gallery to reopen 1 August

The Harley Gallery will be reopening its doors and welcoming visitors back from Saturday 1 August.

Following government guidance, The Harley Gallery and The Portland Collection will be ready to welcome people back and will have revised opening times of 11am to 5pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays and 11am - 4pm on Sundays, closed on Mondays.

The gallery temporarily shut its doors back in March but will be reopening with the launch of two NEW free exhibitions – The Harley Open Exhibition and Joanne Whittle’s Between Islands.

Almost 600 submissions were received for The Harley Open and judges will be selecting around 130 pieces to show. These range from images of lockdown to landscapes and portraits, abstracts and photography.

Winner of the last Harley Open competition, Joanna Whittle will be unveiling her new exhibition ‘Between Islands’ alongside The Harley Open. Her exhibition has been inspired by the surrounding landscape of Welbeck and the art in The Portland Collection.

For the safety of all, a few safety measures have been put in place. To find out more, read on.
