New holiday accommodation unveiled
20 August 2020
Brand new holiday barns within a quiet corner of Welbeck are to open for this first time this weekend, giving more people the chance to enjoy a staycation within the historic country estate.
To celebrate the occasion of the opening of the first three, a special discount of 20% is being offered on any bookings made for those properties during their opening week of 21-28 August.
The former barns have been carefully renovated to combine contemporary décor with some of their original period features. As part of the 15,000-acre Welbeck estate that surrounds Welbeck Abbey, the buildings come with a wealth of history. In a nod to their past, the barns have been named after Welbeck's horse racing legends - Mrs Butterwick, Mowerina, Marquesa, Phaleron, and La Roche – who ran to victory for Welbeck Abbey’s 6th Duke of Portland.
Set within a quiet village location, Holbeck Farm Barns provide the perfect spot to enjoy a chilled out countryside break. Guests will be able to immerse themselves in all that Welbeck has to offer and explore the local area and further afield.
- The first three holiday barns open tomorrow (Friday 21 August) and this offer is only available for stays taken by Friday 28 August.
