Talk to preview new Harley Gallery exhibition
15 February 2021
Works of art by Barbara Hepworth, LS Lowry, Henry Moore, Elisabeth Frink and Walter Sickert will soon be on display at The Harley Gallery.
As part of the celebrated Jerwood Collection, the work will be on show within the gallery on the Welbeck estate from 17th April (*lockdown restrictions permitting).
It will be the collection’s first ever residency and is scheduled to run for a year with four exhibitions, led by four different curators. Until then, whilst visitors aren't able to visit The Harley Gallery in person, there are opportunities to explore its collections online through a programme of free talks.
To celebrate the partnership with the Jerwood Collection, Director of the Collection, Lara Wardle will be joining the gallery for an online talk on 26 March at 12noon to introduce the upcoming exhibition. She will talk about looking after the private art collection and share her thoughts about some of her favourite pieces within the show. To secure your free place on the talk, book here.
- Please check The Harley Gallery website for updates about new exhibition and the talks programme. Alternatively, join The Harley Gallery mailing list and keep up-to-date with all upcoming events.
