Farm shop online cook-along with Rosemary Shrager
25 March 2021
Welbeck Farm Shop will be playing a behind-the-scenes role in chef Rosemary Shrager’s live cook-along over the Easter weekend.
The popular chef and TV personality has been holding weekly online demonstrations in partnership with the Farm Retail Association and will feature the Welbeck Farm Shop as ‘Farm Shop of the Fortnight’ on Saturday 3 April.
During the event, she will invite people to cook along live with her as she creates a special Navarin of Lamb dish, using only ingredients supplied by the farm shop. This will include lamb reared by fifth-generation farmer, Pat Moss, on ancient pastures on the estate.
Rosemary is an advocate of sourcing local ingredients and her weekly cook-alongs combine fresh local produce with easy-to-follow recipes.
Oliver Stubbins, General Manager of Welbeck Farm Shop, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the cook-along and supplying Rosemary with quality ingredients for the dish. The provenance of the meat we supply is important to us and our lamb is reared on unspoilt pasture in the heart of the estate, which gives the meat a delicious, distinctive flavour.”
Rosemary said: “I’m thrilled to be partnering with the Farm Retail Association. I’ve always chosen to shop close to home, wherever possible, and farm shops are the best places to find the freshest and most delicious produce and it’s so good to know that you’re supporting local growers.”
The cook-along will be broadcast live on Saturday 3 April at 5pm via Rosemary's Facebook page.
