Spring at Welbeck
12 April 2021
As we rush headlong into spring, the teams across Welbeck are putting all their plans in place in time for reopening as some of the lockdown restrictions begin to lift. Here's what to look out for...
The team have been tasting dishes for a new menu that will be released when they reopen on Tuesday 13th April for outdoor dining. The café will be open 9am to 5pm, Tuesdays to Sundays (4pm on Sundays).
The School has been open since 8th March for its full-time university students and for its Advanced Diploma students. However, from 17th May it will be reopening its doors for its short course students too with a range of new courses. Find out more here.
Work has been going on behind the scenes at The Harley Gallery to prepare for the opening of its new exhibition - A year with the Jerwood Collection. It's the collection's first-ever residency and includes four exhibitions showing artists such as LS Lowry, Elisabeth Frink, David Hockney, Barbara Hepworth, and Henry Moore.
The museum is set to reopen on 18th May with its displays of fine art and objects collected by the extended family, who descend from Bess of Hardwick and have lived on the Welbeck estate over 400 years.
