Welbeck Farm Shop win Butcher's Shop of the Year 2022

We are delighted to announce Welbeck Farm Shop has been crowned Midlands and East of England Butcher's Shop of the Year 2022.

The Butcher’s Shop Awards look to honour and celebrate quality, commitment and achievement in the UK butchery industry, finding the best of the best in 6 regions spanning the UK as well as rewarding innovation, quality displays, and online retail. 

Winning this award is fantastic for the team, who have worked tirelessly in challenging circumstances over the last year. We have an amazingly loyal customer base, and to also be recognised by expert judges against other fantastic butchers, is a huge compliment. Said Oliver Stubbins, General Manager at Welbeck Farm Shop. 

Our butchery team serves excellent quality local produce, prepared and served traditionally while supporting local farmers and considering all environmentally responsible. It’s great to see Butchery counters with minimal plastic usage and food miles being acknowledged.

Welbeck Farm Shop sits at the heart of a vibrant artisan food community. Most of the shop’s product range is sourced from or prepared on the Welbeck estate. Open seven days a week, the Farm Shop stocks the estate’s meat, game and raw milk sold within an in-store vending machine; the milk is also used to make the famous Stichelton blue cheese. Other items within the Made at Welbeck range include ale from Welbeck Abbey Brewery and bread from Welbeck Bakehouse.
