Event | BBQ Night | Harley Café

Feast out this August with a BBQ bash at the Harley Café. Head Chef James will team up with Sally Hunt from The School of Artisan Food for a fun and informal evening of the best smoked, charred, and caramelised barbeque food.

Guests at the event will enjoy a BBQ masterclass featuring produce from the Welbeck estate, including hoggets reared by Steve Wright in the kitchen garden. The Harley Café chefs will also prepare a feast of BBQ meat and traditional BBQ sides using both estate and locally sourced produce. 

Menu

Whole rare breed Portland hogget hand-reared by head gardener Steve Wright cooked on a kadai by Sally Hunt of The School of Artisan Food.

Saddle of Welbeck muntjac served with a foraged wild berry sauce.

Rosemary and honey cornbread.

Walled garden tomato salad dressed in confit garlic, olive oil and sea salt.

Ham hock braised collard greens.

Sweetcorn riblets dressed with graceburn parsley and pistachios.

Shaved fennel and potato salad dill and lemon dressing.

Home-made strawberry and elderflower pavlova.
