Welbeck Farm Shop shortlisted for a local award

Welbeck Farm Shop has made it to the finals of the Public Voting Awards for the Best Independent Retailer Award in the North Notts Business Awards.

Having already scooped the Farm Shop & Deli Show ‘UK Large Farm Shop of the Year 2024’ and the Farm Retail Associations ‘UK Farm Butcher of the Year 2024’, along with Cafe of the Year in the Great Food Club awards, the team's good luck streak seems to be continuing. 

We caught up with General Manager Oliver Stubbins, 

'Community is an integral part of our business, and to be recognised within our immediate community of Bassetlaw by customers and peers alike is an important factor for us. We were awarded UK Farm Shop of the Year earlier this year, but we know our customer base is much closer to home, and every nomination, shortlisting or award win is a great reflection of our team efforts. We are lucky to have lots of fantastic small businesses in Bassetlaw, so it is a great opportunity to meet with fellow local business leaders and celebrate all our successes.'

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the North Notts Arena on October 4, 2024.
