Welbeck Kitchen Garden

Welbeck Kitchen Garden began its transformation in 2021 when Steve Wright took on the mammoth challenge of restoring 3.5 acres of the walled garden.

Since then, Steve has worked endlessly to restore the garden. Within the first year, he was already growing a variety of heritage and specialist produce that was available at Welbeck Farm Shop, with seasonal fruit and vegetables appearing on the menu at The Harley Café. Head Chef, Ricky Stephenson works closely with Steve, to incorporate the seasonal crops into his recipes.

In addition to growing seasonal produce in the kitchen garden, Steve has a variety of livestock, from rare breed ducks and chickens that provides a constant supply of eggs to Welbeck Farm Shop to rare breed British Lop pigs and Portland Sheep.
