Development Opportunities

We are building a creative and sustainable community at Welbeck. Bringing together rural and creative industries, education and the arts, this will provide new opportunities for people to work, live, learn and create. This is a twenty year project rather than a goal that can be achieved overnight but we are moving fast to make the future an exciting prospect. We call this the Welbeck Project.

This remarkable quadrangle has a total area of 3600 square metres. It has obvious potential to accommodate either prestigious headquarters or educational uses.

This attractive Grade II listed house stands in substantial grounds with a walled kitchen garden and tennis court. Planning consent has been granted for change of use to allow a boutique hotel and restaurant.

The Old School has had a number of different uses throughout its history, having been the village school, estate office, and most recently the infirmary for Welbeck College. We now propose to adapt the building to provide accommodation for diploma and short-course students at The School of Artisan Food.

These historic buildings will convert to office and studio space uses, within a total area of over 1800 square metres.
