Welbeck Farm Shop - 2024 Farm Retail Awards Finalist

Welbeck Farm Shop has proudly been shortlisted in the 2024 UK Farm Retail Awards in the category of Butchery of the Year.

The Farm Retail Awards celebrate the cream of the crop in the industry. They are the only awards judged by fellow farm retailers and celebrate the best farm shops, farm cafés and restaurants, farmers’ markets and trade suppliers in the country.

We caught up with Welbeck Farm Shop's General Manager, Oliver Stubbins:

“We’re delighted to learn that we have made the shortlist for this national award. The Farm Retail Association members include the best farm shops across the UK, and for our Butchery team to be acknowledged as being one of the best against such a high standard really shows the amount of pride and dedication that goes into carefully sourcing, preparing and serving the range we do.

We are currently in game season, so our seasonal counters are full of incredible wild venison, duck, pheasants and partridge, all from the estate, in addition to our own lamb, local beef and free-range pork. With Christmas around the corner, it is a great reminder that there are amazing Butchers out there, and we are delighted to be included in that category by the FRA’s judging panel".
