Hall hire

The Lady Margaret Hall is the perfect venue for a wide range of events, from coffee mornings to craft fairs or even Wedding receptions and birthday parties. It's ideal for those looking for an unusual space in which to create a unique event - with a large hall as well as smaller meeting room, bar, kitchen and stage.

Wedding receptions at The Lady Margaret Hall

The venue is very much a blank canvas, ready for you to dress to your own theme. With space for up to 120 guests for a sit-down dinner, and plenty of room for a marquee outside, you can really let your imagination run riot.

The hall has some furniture but for larger events we recommend Mudfords Marquees for your furniture and marquee hire.

Hall hire:  £150 per day, £20 per hour (minimum of 2 hours).

Camping at The Lady Margaret Hall

Our campsite is a 3 acre meadow and is popluar for events and rallies - you're very welcome to book individual pitches, too.

The site is suitable for tents or caravans, on grass pitches (no hook ups).  Pitches are just £7.50 a night.

Welbeck Farm Shop is just 1/2 mile away. Stock up on hearty breakfast fare or indulgent picnics, local produce includes award-winning butchery, Welbeck Bakehouse Bread and Welbeck Abbey Brewery ales.

There's lots to do on the country estate, with two galleries, showing contemporary visual arts and Welbeck's historic art collection, cafe and garden centre. Approximately 30 minutes' walk away is Creswell Crags, a beautiful limestone gorge which is home to Britain's only known ice age rock art.

Also in walking distance are The School of Artisan Food and The Harley Studios, where you can book onto courses from patisserie to textiles.

For more walks in the local area, please visit The Harley Gallery website.

Did you know? Our washroom uses water from Welbeck's own spring.
