Cuckney House FAQ's

The standard booking for Cuckney House is a self-catering experience. A friendly team member will meet and greet you upon arrival and departure. We have options available for you to tailor your holiday to your needs, which can include additional options for housekeeping and catering during your stay. 

No, dogs are not allowed at Cuckney House.

Yes, a dual charging point is provided on-site. 

Yes, this is located at the side of the fireplace and in the greenhouse.

No. Ash trays can be found around the exterior of the house. 

Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi. It is unprotected and used at your own risk. 

Check-in from 3pm. Check-out before 11am. 

The manager will meet you at the house and assist you with your arrival. You will also receive all of the arrival information before arrival.

Yes, you can change your booking up to 90 days before arrival.

We ask for the property to be left in a similar condition that it was found. Please dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided, and all cutler, crockery and glassware cleaned and back where it belongs.

Yes. Welbeck Farm Shop has a selection of hampers available, as well as a click and collect service. Alternatively, there are several local supermarkets where you can arrange for delivery to the address during your stay. Deliveries need to be arranged for after your arrival.

We take an accidental damage deposit of £1000 to cover any damage to the property during your stay. The refund will be returned in full should no damage occur. 

No. All bed linen and bath towels are provided.

30% of the total.

A 30% deposit is due at the time of booking to secure the cottage. If bookings are made within 30 days of the Arrival Date, the Holiday Price must paid in full. You must pay the balance of the Holiday Price at least 90 days prior to the Arrival Date.

90 days before arrival, we accept cancellations without any fees. Deposits are non-refundable.

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to change a confirmed booking and reserve the right to refuse to do so. See our full terms and conditions for further information.

Yes, we have a ground-floor accessible suite comprising two bedrooms with an accessible shower room.

Cuckney House can accommodate up to 40 guests and cater for internal events for up to 50 guests. Our minimum number of guests is one.

Yes, depending on occupancy, you can, and this needs to be pre-arranged with the manager.

Yes, we have an operations team to assist with moving furniture and function room changes, as well as a housekeeping team to assist you with bedrooms and cleaning the ground floor. This needs to be pre-arranged prior to arrival.

Yes, we have a team of housekeepers that can attend the house at 09:00 on your departure day to assist you with getting the house back together prior to departure. This is charge at £20 per staff member per hour.

We allow this in accordance with our occupancy and staff availability. This is prearranged with the manager, and charges are based on the time requested.
