General FAQ’s

Welbeck Abbey is a private family home. It is open for guided public tours during the spring and summer. Tickets for the tours can be purchased via the Harley Foundation.  

Visitor attractions include The Courtyard at Welbeck, home to the Harley Gallery, Portland Collection Museum, Welbeck Farm Shop and the Harley Café, with several walking routes from this location.

Welbeck Village is closed to public access. Welbeck Abbey opens for pre-bookable State Room tours every spring and summer.  

There are also pre-bookable seasonal kitchen garden tours and brewery tours. 

Dogs are welcome. To protect our wildlife, please keep your dog on a short lead. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area at the Harley Café. Assistant dogs are welcome in the Harley Gallery, The Portland Collection Museum and Welbeck Farm Shop.  

There are several dedicated public walking trails across the estate. Please see our walking routes for further details.

Unfortunately, we have no wheelchairs or mobility scooters available to hire.

No, Notcutts Garden Centre and Restaurant is managed by a thrid-party business tenant. 

Yes. Baby changing facilities are available in both male and female toilets at the Harley Gallery, The Portland Collection, and the Harley Cafe.
