Administrator
We are looking to appoint an Administrator for Welbeck Farm Shop.

This role is responsible for providing administrative and financial support to the accounts function, ensuring that financial and stock records are maintained accurately and efficiently.

This involves booking stock into the system, price checking invoices to the cost prices on the system, coding invoices to the applicable nominal code / cost centre, daily cashing up and supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a brilliant team. A typical week would be working on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – with flexible hours between 8am and 5pm - including school-friendly hours during term time. The salary is £12.91 per hour.

Accounts Payable
• Match delivery notes to supplier invoices.
• Book stock into the system where applicable.
• Compare the invoice price to the system.
• Notify the relevant manager of any cost increases.
• Code the invoices to the relevant nominal code and cost centres.
• Scan invoices to the head office for processing.

Stock Control
• Attend the monthly stock count (on a rotation basis – last day of each month).
• Process stock quantities into the system.
• Perform spot checks on system quantities to physical counts throughout the month.
• Notify the relevant manager of any stock discrepancies.

Cash Control
• Daily cashing up of tills.
• Reconcile physical cash to EPOS system.
• Petty cash control.
• Prepare cash ready for collection.

General Administration
• Answer finance-related enquiries via telephone and email.
• Maintain confidential financial information in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and information as required.
• Support the wider team with ad hoc administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls.

• Previous experience in an administration role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Ongoing training will be provided for the successful candidate.
