We are delighted to announce that Welbeck has been shortlisted in three categories at the Visit East Midlands Tourism Awards – Nottinghamshire 2027.
Welbeck has been recognised in the Regenerative Tourism category for The Welbeck Estate – Cuckney House, while Cuckney House is also a finalist for Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year. The Welbeck Estate has additionally been shortlisted for Team of the Year.
This achievement reflects the care, dedication and teamwork that shape every visit and stay at Welbeck. From the welcome offered by our colleagues to the thoughtful guest experience at Cuckney House, it is wonderful to see these efforts recognised alongside outstanding tourism and hospitality businesses from across Nottinghamshire.
The awards celebrate excellence, innovation, sustainability and exceptional customer experiences across the county’s visitor economy. More than 100 applications were received this year, with finalists selected across 14 categories.
Our place on the Regenerative Tourism shortlist is especially meaningful. It recognises an approach to tourism that seeks to create a positive and lasting impact, while the Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year nomination celebrates the quality of a stay at Cuckney House. The Team of the Year shortlist is a tribute to the colleagues whose commitment brings the wider Welbeck experience to life.
Finalists now progress to independent judging, including mystery visits. The winners will be announced at the Visit East Midlands Tourism Awards ceremony on 10 March 2027 at Crowne Plaza Nottingham.
We are proud to stand alongside so many outstanding Nottinghamshire businesses and organisations. Congratulations to every finalist—and thank you to the Welbeck colleagues whose passion and hard work have made this recognition possible.
