We are looking to appoint a Chef de Partie to contribute to the smooth, efficient and cost effective running of the Harley Cafe.

The Harley Café offers a range of high quality fresh daily food, on a weekly and seasonally changing menu, with an emphasis on locally sourced quality ingredient led cooking, and bright modern flavours.

Named Cafe of the Year 23/24 in the Great Food Club Awards and shortlisted for the Farm Café of the year in 2025 and 2026 with the Farm Retail Association, we are proud of our ethos and exceptional produce and service. We have high standards in our small but busy café.

We are part of a multi-award-winning Farm Shop based on The Welbeck Estate. The shop is famed for its locally sourced, full carcass butchery counter, Neals Yard cheeses, estate walled garden produce and network of fabulous local suppliers, which creates a dream larder for our Chefs.

This fantastic opportunity includes daytime shift patterns - typically falling between 7:30am and 4:30pm - working 7 days a week with occasional evening events.

36 hours per week. Pay rate based on experience.

Please advise if you would like your application to be considered for part-time hours on a job share basis – working hours will be adapted to support the right candidates where possible.

· Consistently preparing and cooking food to the highest standards.

· Working alongside our talented team of chefs, with significant input to menu development and gross profit achievement, with creative utilisation of seasonal produce.

· Assisting with the execution and maintenance of excellent operational standards.

· Working with the Farm shop production team as required.

• Previous experience with short-order cooking in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills 

• Professional and self-motivated.

Ongoing training will be provided for the successful candidate.
