The Welbeck Farm Shop are looking to add to its award-winning team with a Christmas opportunity on our Deli counters.

We are looking for a candidate with a genuine interest in food, who is passionate about quality produce and feels comfortable engaging with our broad customer base. Produce is sold over the counter in a traditional manner. The successful candidate will ideally have excellent customer service skills and previous experience in specialist food retail.

The role will be predominantly customer service; however, it will also include some food preparation, displaying of products and cleaning.

Shifts generally fall between 8am and 5:30pm, and will include weekend working.

Due to a need to use a meat slicer, candidates will need to be aged 18 or over.

· Preparing and displaying food
· Greeting customers
· Giving food recommendations and advice
· Taking orders, weighing and packing produce
· Restocking
· Cleaning down counters and machinery

Previous experience with food handling and customer service is desirable. A positive, engaging approach and can-do-attitude is essential.

Ongoing training will be provided for the successful candidate.
