• To assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the flower borders and vegetable beds of a domestic property within the heart of the estate.
• To apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilisers, ensuring that COSHH and other Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to.
• To propagate, establish and maintain herbaceous borders, rose beds, trees, and shrubs.
• To carry out other general gardening tasks as may reasonably be requested by management to include mowing, strimming and hedge cutting.
• To assist the Grounds and Forestry team on other estate duties as required.

• A suitable Horticultural/Agricultural qualification
• Experience in a similar role and be prepared for a physically demanding role
• The ability to operate a range of tools and machinery relevant to the position
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team
• A knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and adhere to these at all times
• A “can do” attitude, be a hard-working team player and maintain a high quality of work
• The ability to schedule their own workload and manage their time effectively
• An ability to recognise potential hazardous situations/materials and respond accordingly
