Holiday Cottage FAQ's

All our holiday cottages at Welbeck are self-catering. We provide the necessary facilities for guests to cater for themselves.

We have 4 dog-friendly cottages on The Welbeck Estate, Marquesa, Mowerina, Short Croft Cottage and Stable Cottage. Each of these cottages allows up to two dogs at an additional cost. We ask all guests with dogs to comply with our Dog Code of Conduct during your stay.

Yes, our family-friendly holiday cottages are the perfect base for family gatherings. Amenities vary between each cottage, and we recommend reading the full description before making your booking. 

For guests staying at our properties we recommend searching Zapmap for charging points within the area. 

For cottages with a log burner, we provide all the necessities for your first fire.

Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi in all our properties. On arrival, the access codes can be found in the Welcome Pack. 

Holiday Cottages
Check-in from 4pm. Check-out before 10am. 

You will receive your booking confirmation once the deposit has been paid.

Prior to your stay you will receive arrival instructions that include the access code and directions. The key can be found in the key box on the outside of each property. 

You can make changes within an acceptable time frame. Please see our cancellation policy for cancellation details.

We ask all our guests who stay at our holiday cottages to leave the property in the same condition as you found it.

Yes. Welbeck Farm Shop has a selection of hampers available, as well as a click and collect. Alternatively, there are several local supermarkets where you can arrange for delivery to the address during your stay. Deliveries need to be arranged for after your arrival.

No. All bed linen and bath towels are provided.

30% of the total.

A 30% deposit is due at the time of booking to secure the cottage. If bookings are made within 30 days of the Arrival Date, the Holiday Price must paid in full. You must pay the balance of the Holiday Price at least 30 days prior to the Arrival Date.

If you want to change any details of your confirmed booking, we will do our best to make the changes. However, we must receive your written notice by post or email to holidaycottages@welbeck.co.uk

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to change a confirmed booking and reserve the right to refuse to do so. See our full terms and conditions for further information.

Please notify the manager on duty immediately.

We hold all lost property for six months. Guests can contact us, and we will gladly assist in reuniting you with your belongings should we find them at the property.
