We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our existing team, helping to maintain our range of holiday lets /cottages across the Welbeck Estate. Previous experience is not essential, as training will be provided.
Changeover days are busy, and candidates, although part of a successful team, must be able to work on their own initiative and under pressure. The standard of accommodation is very high, and we expect the housekeeping team, under guidance from the Head Housekeeper, to ensure the accommodation is presented beautifully to all of our guests.
Mondays and Fridays are our busiest days; however, there may also be the requirement for some midweek working and regular weekend working will be expected, in line with booking demands. Hours typically fall between 10am and 4pm.
Due to the location of these properties, access to own transport is essential.
Welbeck provides all necessary housekeeping products and equipment, as well as a uniform.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- making and dressing beds
- cleaning and polishing bathrooms and kitchens
- hoovering and dusting properties throughout
- flower and hamper displays
- completing a comprehensive checklist for each property and reporting damages
- ensuring appliances are in good working order
- recommending any improvements to our offerings
Candidates must have an eye for detail, have pride in the finished product and take responsibility for ensuring our high standards are met. Previous cleaning experience in the hospitality sector preferred.

The hourly rate is £12.71, and enhanced rates will apply to some aspects of the role.
