We are looking for a flexible, motivated and energetic individual to work within the forestry/ arb department, reporting to the Head of Grounds and Forestry. This is a physically demanding role that requires a hardworking, committed and safety conscious individual.

Duties will include, but not be restricted to:
• Tree climbing and chainsaw operations
• Felling and processing trees of varying sizes
• Operation of chippers and various arb/forestry equipment
• Roadside tree works and surveys
• Amenity tree works around various properties on the Estate to include tenant and private property
• Assisting with other Estate activities as and when required to include assisting with the Forestry and Grounds Teams

The successful candidate should have:
• Suitable relevant experience
• A City and Guilds NPTC level accredited certification for the use of chainsaws (CS30.1, CS30.2, CS31, CS32), or the current equivalent (essential)
• Rope access / the ability to climb (CS38.1, CS38.2. CS45, CS40)
• Spraying certificates PA1 and PA6 (not essential)
• Arb machinery experience
• Any other forestry, arboriculture qualification or relevant experience would be desirable.
