Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards honour the remarkable achievements that have contributed to Nottingham and Nottinghamshire's vibrant and growing visitor economy.
Ross Owen, Hospitality Manager, said:
"Our whole department is exceptionally proud that Cuckney House is a finalist in Nottinghamshire's tourism awards for the best New Tourism Business of the Year. Holbeck Farm Barns have made it in the running for Self-catering Accommodation of the Year. The team works very hard to ensure the highest standards are met for every guest, and we look forward to hearing the results in 2025".
Megan Powell, CEO of Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, including Visit Nottinghamshire, expressed how important these awards are for the region:
“These awards not only showcase the outstanding offer across Nottinghamshire and celebrate the individuals and teams that deliver these every day, but it embeds the value of the Visitor Economy to the region in terms of jobs, supporting communities and attracting inward investment. Without the visitor economy we would not have the extraordinary place that we do today.”
Cuckney House and Holbeck Farm Barns will now proceed to the final round of independent judging, which includes a series of mystery shopping visits. The winners will be selected ahead of a joint Nottinghamshire-Derbyshire awards ceremony held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
We want to congratulate the hospitality team and wish them the best of luck when the winners are announced.
