Coal Mining Stories
Explore the connections between the Welbeck Estate and coal mining – and celebrate the creativity of Nottinghamshire’s mining communities.
Located on the Welbeck Estate and set in secluded woodland with manicured grounds, a tennis court, an outdoor kitchen, and hot tubs, the elegant manor house is an ideal venue for small weddings and events or the perfect base for a self-catering holiday.
The stunning house was once home to the 6th Duke of Portland and was one of the filming locations for Testament of Youth in 2014, which starred Kit Harington, Taron Egerton, Dominic West, and Alicia Vikander.
