Walks at Welbeck

Whatever the time of year, there is always something to discover at Welbeck, whether you’re visiting for a few hours or staying for a week.

Nestled in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, Welbeck extends to some 15,000 acres, straddling the borders of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Surrounded by rolling countryside, the Welbeck estate is the perfect location to take a leisurely stroll through majestic ancient woods, pre-historic gorges, wild parklands or tranquil tree-lined avenues.

Please note that the telephone signal in The Courtyard and on the walks can be hit and miss! If you plan to use a map on your device, please download it before you visit.

As a working estate, we kindly ask that you stick to the footpaths to protect our crops, livestock, and wildlife and respect our tenants' privacy.
