Located in Belph, Derbyshire, Stable Cottage is situated on the edge of the Welbeck Estate. A cosy two-bedroom, dog-friendly cottage that sleeps three. It features numerous walking paths that can be explored directly from the doorstep and is set within its own private, enclosed garden and meadow, complete with a stream at the end of the garden.

The detached stone cottage features an open-plan kitchen/diner and lounge area, a separate utility room, a downstairs toilet, and stairs leading up to a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a shower room.

I stayed at the Stable Cottage for one week and immensely enjoyed it! The cottage is comfortable and has an excellent kitchen. From this location, it was easy to visit The Harley Gallery and the Portland Museum, as well as the excellent cafe and the amazing farm shop! We also took Ubers to Hardwick Hall and Bolsover Castle, which was convenient.

A beautiful cottage, ample room for a business trip over several days and cheaper than chain brand hotels locally. An abundant continental breakfast left on arrival which surpassed others. Modern fixtures and fittings, great shower, very comfortable bed and ample space in the living areas. Will be returning very soon!

The cottage was perfect for our stay while attending course at the School of Artisan Food. Nice 30 minute walk to the classes along well marked route out the back of the cottage. Great cottage for dogs, and secure garden. Ross looked after us really well.

Lovely cottage in a great setting. The weather wasn’t warm enough to enjoy the garden and barbecue but it looked great. Nice access for countryside walks and very near to the Welbeck farm shop for great food

Our standard changeover days for Stable Cottage are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The minimum stay is 2-nights.
